A bronze sculpture by Curtis Jere, sits on a black pedestal with a rotating and illuminating top, which anchors the room. A pair of antique rosso levanto marble column lamps are on either side of a vintage 3-seat Italian sofa with brass in-lay. Custom drapes help frame the spectacular view of the lower rose garden. The large 10 x 10-foot elliptical window was added during the construction and renovation of the existing house. Custom winged swivel chairs in a Pierre Frey boucle fabric adds warmth and contrast in relation to the polished nickel and brass smoked glass coffee table by Karl Springer along with the art deco lines of the Ron Seff side table.

Other updates to the interior include the powder room off the foyer.  Wrapped in an exploded vertical stripe wallcovering by Scalamandre, the pattern creates a level of depth and texture to the small space with its subtle color but large-scale design.  Adding a hand-made vintage brass mirror and a linear ribbed Murano Sconce above the existing porcelain tulip sink, ignites the room with the same feeling of charm and elegance that flows throughout this unique Connecticut home.
